Volk Review

Though this is a story geared more toward female readers, men will find interest in it too--a look at a dysfunctional relationship from the distaff side. Some of the situations will frustrate and make you angry, others will evoke sympathy, but the tale will pull you along until you reach its inevitable conclusion. Based on true events, Ms. Monroe weaves a cautionary tale that will inform as well as entertain. When you think about it, what more can you ask from a book?
